Details of Callaway FT-i Squareway Wood
Squareway Inertial Design positions discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the Callaway FT-i Squareway Wood clubhead, raising the MOI for unparalleled resistance to twisting. This Callaway FT-i Squareway Wood provides straighter and more forgiving shots hit over a wide area of the face. Fusion Technology construction combines a stainless steel face, sole and body with a lightweight, carbon composite crown, allowing Callaway Golf engineers to move discretionary weight where it is needed most, resulting in better stability and distance. The club's oversize head shape allows for a higher MOI to increase forgiveness and stability at impact for better accuracy. VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness, while S2H2 increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead.

The new series of squareway woods put out by callaway a designed to improve performance and ensure better golf. As Callaway claims these clubs are the best clubs you'll ever hit. Personally I will give them a well above excellent rating.
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Great club for fairways or light rough. Balls out of medium rough tend to come out high. This club only took a few swings to dial in. Consistently straight off of any flat lie and easy to adjust for balls above and below your feet.
I own the 5 in the squareway. Being a newer player- I have struggled with fairway woods. This is the EASIEST club I have hit (besides the short irons) The MOI is so wonderful that if you make decent contact with the ball- it will fly, fly, fly. I cant use it on the shorter holes because it sends the bar so far. Plus, I use it when my driver is not cooperating with me. The price is a bit steep but I would definitely pay it again for it.
I've played all kinds of clubs in my 17 years of golf . I'm being honest - You can't hit this wood anything but straight. I was a loyal Big Bertha fairway wood fan, but these are WAY longer. On a typical par 5 I used to hit 3 wood 3 wood (BB) and 7 iron, but yesterday I hit 5 wood, 5 wood Lob wedge to about 12 feet. If control is what you're looking for, put some of these in your bag. You'll be amazed!!
